Hospital Administration Work Flow
Patient Information
At Cancer Care Hospital, we aim to make your journey as smooth and comfortable as possible. Below are the procedures and guidelines for appointments, consultations, admissions, and billing.
Appointment Procedure
Patients, or their relatives on their behalf, can book prior appointments for consultations and treatments. Appointments can be made through:
- In person at the hospital reception
- Telephone during office hours
- Website (for future dates only, not for the same day)
📌 Please Note:
- Appointments are valid only for the specific date booked. If a patient does not attend on that day, the appointment will not carry forward.
- A maximum of 10 appointments per date can be booked via the website.
- Kindly reconfirm your appointment during office hours to avoid inconvenience.
OPD Procedure
- Registration –New patients must register at the reception counter and receive their hospital file.
- Documents Required –Please bring all previous clinical records and referral letters (if any).
- Examination –
- An assistant doctor records the patient’s clinical history and conducts preliminary physical examination.
- The consultant oncologist then performs a detailed examination and advises further investigations or treatment
Indoor Procedure
After evaluation and investigations, patients may be advised for treatment in either Day Care or Inpatient Wards:
Day Care Unit
For patients who require short-duration chemotherapy or supportive care, treatment is administered in the Day Care Ward, and patients can return home the same day.
Inpatient Wards
For treatments requiring a stay of 2–3 days or longer, patients are admitted to one of the following wards:
- General Ward
- Bed with bedside locker
- Stool for attendant
- Common bathroom and toilet facilities (shared)
- Air-conditioned environment
- Private Ward
- Semi-private, air-conditioned room (2 patients per room)
- Each patient provided with bedside locker and stool for attendant
- Deluxe Ward
- Single-occupancy, air-conditioned private room
- Equipped with Television, bedside locker, and attendant’s couch for added comfort
Discharge Procedure
At the time of discharge, the treating doctor provides a discharge card that includes:
- Details of investigations and diagnosis
- Treatments administered
- Follow-up medicines
- Next review date
Billing Information
- Inpatients (Admitted Patients): Bills are settled at the reception after discharge.
- Day Care Patients: Bills are prepared after treatment and can be settled the same day.
- Consultations: Consultation fees are to be paid at the reception after the appointment.
