Dr Anand PathakCancer Specialist

Dr Anand B. Pathak is the consultant in Cancer Care Clinic and Hospital and Medical Director in National Cancer Institute, Nagpur. He has done his post-graduation in Internal Medicine. Dr Pathak did his fellowship training in medical oncology and hemato-oncology in Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai which is the largest Cancer Hospital in India with state-of-the-art facilities. He is a certified medical oncologist of European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Dr Anand Pathak is a visiting fellowship to Royal Marsden Hospital, London, world's first dedicated cancer hospital, and M D Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston. He has got many papers published related to many malignancies in international forums and journals like ASCO, Indian Journal of Haematology, Journal of surgical oncology to name a few. These include review articles, case reports, original papers on solid and haematological malignancies.

He has got many international clinical trials which are underway and continues to be part of many academic initiatives and forums. He has been invited as faculty to many reputed conferences and seminars.

His area of interest is to provide cost effective treatment to poor class patients, optimizing the reach of cancer treatment to all. He is interested in new areas of treatment like targeted therapies, genomic profiling, pain management and palliative care for terminally ill patients. He has special interest in Head and Neck Cancer, Lung Cancer and Breast Cancer for which he has many publications to his name.

He has been recognised for his services to the cancer patients. He has been awarded the "Legends of Medical Oncology" award by Indian Society of Medical & Paediatric Oncology at 3rd Indian Cancer Congress 2023 held in Mumbai. He is being awarded "The Dhanwantri Kawach" by Dhanwantri Jayanti Utsav Samiti and various societies of Ayurvedic Practioners for his contributions in the field of Cancer treatment.
